GDND (Game Design and Development Community) is a student-run organization at Eastern Mediterranean University. We aim to build a community culture centered around creativity, collaboration, and shared learning, bringing together students interested in game design, development, art, and storytelling.
No. The game industry doesn't require a formal degree to make an impact. What truly matters is exploring your creative potential. We welcome anyone interested in the field, aiming to help you discover what excites you most.
We organize Game Jams, "Student Cave" gatherings, technical workshops, webinars, and social icebreaker events. Our events are designed to turn the process of game creation into both an educational and experiential journey.
A Game Jam is an event where participants, either individually or in teams, develop a game within a specific theme and a limited time frame, usually 48 to 72 hours. It serves as a perfect simulation of real-world game development.
Student Cave is our weekly gathering where members play games, share experiences, and discuss the industry in a relaxed atmosphere. It also provides a space for teams to test their projects and receive feedback from the community.
